Verus Precision have been providing Metrology Jigs & Fixtures, Sub-Contract Dimensional Measurement Services and Moldflow Analysis to UK customers since 2008 from its facility in Sligo, Ireland.

Due to an increase in business activity from our UK Clients and enquires as to when Verus would be establishing a UK base, in early 2015 Verus decided to do exactly that and opened our facility on the Nottingham Science and Technology Park .

Verus Precision UK Limited continue to focus on providing an excellent independent subcontract metrology service. Plans are already in place to make Verus the largest Metrology services company in the UK, and we believe that with our collective experience and knowledge of the industry, we are already beginning to establish ourselves as your metrology partner of choice.

Sub-Contract Metrology

Verus offer a full sub-contract co-ordinate metrology service using the latest CMM technology from Hexagon along with class-leading non-contact and multi-sensor technology from OGP. From full ISIRs or FAIRs to simple one off or batch measurements.

All machines are serviced and calibrated to the relevant ISO standards and are programmed by fully skilled and hugely experienced metrology Engineers.

Metrology Fixtures – Design – Manufacture – Validate

Verus have become widely known as a leading supplier of metrology fixtures for both CMM and Non-Contact machines to a wide range of multinationals. Applications from Medical Device to Consumer Goods, Automotive and even Aerospace are regularly supported by Verus Fixtures.

The entire process is managed from initial concept design, through manufacture and validation. All fixtures are supplied with a full Minitab Gauge R&R report to ensure the fixture is capable of performing in a production environment.

Moldflow Analysis

Verus have Autodesk Expert Certified Moldflow expertise to optimise your component design and injection moulding process.

Using Moldflow as a tool of continual optimisation of a design from the early stages all the way through to production will result in component designs that are robust, dimensionally stable and can be processed within normal processing ranges. These combined with optimised mould tool design will accelerate the time to market by reducing the mould tool debugging and validation stages.
